Robert A. Hoey, CFP®
Owner
Robert is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional with more than 33 years of experience in the investment, financial planning, and insurance industries and accounting field. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Nichols College. He is a past president of the Worcester Estate and Business Planning Council.
Robert has been leading Hoey Wealth Management since 1990. When he is not in the office, Robert enjoys hiking, golfing, and traveling. An avid vegetable gardener, Robert donates the fruits of his labor to his local food pantry every season, as well as to family and friends.

Patrick J. Hoey
Financial Advisor
Patrick Hoey is a Financial Advisor at Hoey Wealth Management. Patrick graduated from Nichols College in 2015. During his time there, he was the Student Government Association president, class president, and he held countless other leadership positions. Patrick is an Eagle Scout and owner of a golden retriever named Dola.
Patrick has been in the finance industry since 2015. After his college graduation, he worked at John Hancock as an enrollment specialist and a 401(k) rollover specialist. More recently, he worked at Jackson National as an internal wholesaler.
Patrick enjoys both watching and playing sports. He participates in CrossFit and the occasional spin class. He also loves music but has no musical talent himself. Patrick was born and raised in Central Massachusetts, but his second home will always be Nashville, Tennessee.
Melanie Hensel
Administrative Assistant
Melanie has been an administrative assistant for more than 30 years and has worked in the financial industry for more than 22 years. In her spare time, she loves spending time exploring nature, and she has seen deer, coyote, eagles, fox, and bear in the Quabbin Reservoir area during her hikes.
She likes watching the Blue Jays and other small birds in her backyard and gets a kick out of the squirrels trying to climb said birdfeeders. She also enjoys watching the trail cameras she has around her yard to watch the foxes, rabbits, opposums, deer, the occasional loose dog or cat, red squirrels, black squirrels, skunks and most recently the Big Black bears.
Georgie Hoey & Dola Hoey
Chief Greeters & Head of Security
Georgie is the chief greeter here at Hoey Wealth Management. She is also our firm’s security guard. She must kiss and sniff everyone before they enter the premises. Georgie lives with Rob and Mary. She likes to sniff, play with her ball, take LOTS of naps, and get cuddles from everyone that comes in.
Dola is the Chief Barketing Officer here at Hoey Wealth Management. He is also our assistant Chief Greeter. Dola must greet you with a smile and a kiss before entering in. Dola is Patrick’s dog, but lives with his grandparents Rob and Mary. He comes from Alabama. Due to his southern charm, he likes to give kisses, lay on top of his ball, lots of smiles, and pets from everyone that comes into the office.
